A Message from the Superintendent

Welcome back! Last year was an outstanding year for the West Oso Independent School District in the area of academics and extracurricular events, and I expect this year to be even better!
West Oso ISD is committed to providing our students with a quality education to ensure success for all students. I truly believe our future is our children and thus, their education and well-being must be our utmost priority because the attainment of a quality education will determine their quality of life.
Parents, family and community members are vital partners in the educational process—we cannot be successful with our students unless educators, parents and community members are working together to provide a support system that will benefit our students. We have very high expectations for our students because (1) we know that they have the potential to do it, (2) we know that they have a strong work ethic, and (3) we know that they believe that they can do it!
At WOISD we want to ensure that each one of our students has an opportunity to further their education once they graduate from high school. Let us continue to strive for EXCELLENCE in every area of our school program and always remember our “OSO PRIDE”.
