Biography: My name is Marylu Valdez and I graduated from Texas A&M University Corpus Christi with a Bachelor Degree in Bilingual Education. I've been at West Oso Elementary for five years. I have three very smart children and have been married for fourteen years to my wonderful husband. My favorite place to visit is Aransas National Wildlife Refuge because it's peaceful and you never know what kind of animals you'll see. My passion is being a mom, wife and teaching others. Gardening is my newest hobby and I'm currently working on a hummingbird / butterfly garden.
